This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room for many years in a non-smoking home with 2 Hepa air filters and in the summer 2 industrial dehumidifiers, each inside a protective bag.

I am now starting to dig into the heart of my pressbook collection, to start to offer the most rare and valuable collectible pressbooks, those that are very rarely seen at auction, if at all.
Beautiful color cover on the front of this extensive 32 page Paramount pressbook. Looking through this, it makes me sad how the movie industry has changed. There are so many different styles of advertisements. Paramount had some of the best graphics designers and created some of the most beautiful ads for their films in this era. Aside from pages and pages of ad styles, there are many extensive publicity stories, about the stars, the making of the movie, and pages of promotional ideas, pictures of all of the film's posters, lobby cards and stills, and so much more. This pressbook has never been folded. I've had it bagged for many years now, so the pages are a nice shade of white. The spine is completely attached without any separation. There is a very small corner bend in the upper right corner but it's too small to even measure. The upper left corner has a little larger fold, but it's been flattened under piles of pressbooks for a long time so it's something you have to look for to see. The inside pages are near mint condition. It is obvious this has been handled very little in all these years. I would say one would have a very hard time, if not impossible finding another one of these in this condition.

Our shipping charge includes the pressbook mailed
securely. It also includes a plastic collectible sealed bag which you can use to store your pressbook. If you order more than one pressbook, each will come with the protective bag. We ship all packages first class mail, which normally will arrive 3-9 days after shipping, depending how close you are to Minnesota. International orders are shipped first class international, please note there is no tracking number available for first class international service, only a customs number. To get a tracking number for international shipping, it must be shipped international priority, and the packages being so large as they are can cost around .00 and up. We used to offer this service but no one used it so we dropped it due to the cost.

I have been a movie fan all of my life, my grandfather worked for both Universal and RKO, and my mother was an editor at Paramount. At age 8, I was taken to my grandfather's offices and saw piles of movie pressbooks stacked up. I caught the fever. I have collected since then when, at that visit, my grandfather gave me a copy of the pressbook for The Green Slime and a promotional can of actual green slime with the MGM label on it. Over the years, when I obtained a pressbook, it would immediately go into a plastic bag and was taped shut for protection. My father owned a furniture store which my grandfather opened in 1900, which I worked at for 10 years and the first thing and most important thing he taught me was about customer relations, to treasure each and every customer, so I am an old-fashioned seller who cares about each sale and your satisfaction, a "mom and pop" type store. I am ALWAYS available to talk about anything you might be interested in: from my store to movie talk or our transaction, as I check my Ebay mail almost every 2 hours during the day.
